About The Position

The Warehouse Night Selector selects customer orders in the warehouse using selection labels that provide product slot numbers, item codes, and descriptions through the SAE-Scanning System. The selector scans the slot location, travels there using a mid-rider electric pallet jack, identifies the product, labels the case, and places the product on a pallet arranged in delivery-stop sequence. Orders are shrink-wrapped and transported to the designated outbound dock door for loading. The role includes selecting orders in the freezer and other temperature zones.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Clean driving record.
• Material handling equipment experience required.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Must be able to read slot numbers and product descriptions.
• Must be capable of selecting orders in all temperature zones and meeting the 200-cases-per-hour standard by the end of the 90-day probationary period.
• Must pass a drug screen and physical exam.
• Must be able to walk extensively and stand for long periods, usually 8–10 hours.
• Must be able to bend at the waist, stoop to reach into slot locations, and squat to lift heavy items properly.
• Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, feet, and legs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAE-Scanning or similar systems is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders from warehouse stock using selection labels and the SAE-Scanning System.
• Scan slot locations and retrieve the specified products using a mid-rider electric pallet jack.
• Identify products, place labels on cases, and arrange products on pallets in delivery-stop sequence.
• Shrink-wrap completed orders and transport them to the designated outbound dock door.
• Select orders in freezer and other temperature zones.
• Meet the standard of 200 cases per hour by the end of the 90-day probationary period.
