About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Night Selector to join our team in Woonsocket, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting orders using a voice-activated system in various warehouse environments, including dry, cooler, and freezer sections. You will operate electric pallet jacks and other powered industrial equipment to transport products and stage them for loading. Maintaining and safely operating all assigned equipment, performing pre-trip inspections, and adhering to all safety practices and company policies are crucial. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Warehouse experience and equipment operation preferred
  • Basic math and English reading/writing skills required
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs), and work on your feet throughout shift
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and stack product up to 72 inches
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Must be a team player, fast-paced, organized, and safety-focused
  • Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Hand select orders using a voice activated system, within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler and freezer.
  • Stack product on pallets following proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy product on light product, labels facing out, adhering to food safety principles, etc.).
  • Operate an electric pallet jack, or other powered industrial equipment, to transport products.
  • Stage pallets for loading on proper dock locations.
  • Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment including, but not limited to, powered industrial equipment, voice headsets, and personal protective equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections, and safely operate all powered industrial equipment.
  • Shrink-wrap product on the loading dock.
  • Adhere to all safety practices and company policies and food safety principles.
  • Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
  • Attend all required company meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
