The Warehouse Night Lead is primarily responsible for assisting the Manager and Supervisor with replenishment, receiving, other basic warehouse functions, be a trainer for new hires and other duties as assigned. Schedule is Monday through Friday 4:30 p.m. to completion or as business needs dictate. This is a labor-intensive role where team members will be responsible for moving stock repeatedly throughout the shift both manually and with equipment.

Requirements

  • Warehouse experience
  • Basic math skills are required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers and pallet jacks
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner
  • Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. REPEATEDLY
  • Must be able to work assigned hours, Monday - Friday
  • Must be available to meet scheduling requirements which may include additional hours/days without advance notice
  • Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and Fit for duty testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Warehouse management systems, Workday software experience desired

Responsibilities

  • Assist manager with direction of activities of all warehouse associates in their respective areas including loading, unloading, and replenishment.
  • Liaison between employee and managers
  • Influence and motivate peers to achieve goals
  • Assist manager with directing workflow
  • Assist manager with monitoring employee(s) productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency
  • Responsible for meeting productivity goals for the position
  • Be proficient in all work areas for the shift
  • Utilize warehouse management system to locate product in the warehouse while ensuring inventory accuracy and control
  • Safely operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move product
  • Ensure a safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
