About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for moving trailers within the yard using a yard truck, and loading/unloading materials using a forklift. This role also involves tracking product expiration dates, conducting inventory counts, assisting receivers, stocking production supplies, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and a commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Use the yard truck to move trailers from one area to another in the yard.
• Use a forklift to load and unload materials that need to be moved to or from the production area.
• Track expiration dates on product being moved to production, ensuring no outdated product is used.
• Count inventory on a weekly and monthly basis, reporting quantities to the warehouse clerk.
• Help receivers unload trucks if needed.
• Stock production supplies in the production area.
• Keep accurate inventory counts on all supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment in the warehouse and production area.
