About The Position

As a Warehouse Material Handler at Graybar, you work with a team to ensure products reach their destinations. The role includes unloading delivery vehicles, receiving and storing inventory, and selecting and packing customer orders. At times, you may deliver customer orders in a light van or delivery vehicle. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The expected pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Steel-toed boots are required. Most regular, full-time employees may be eligible for benefits, with eligibility varying by location and role.

Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 70 pounds, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying active in temperatures that vary by location.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
• Good attendance and work ethic.
• Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Steel-toed boots are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Unload deliveries and accurately receive inventory.
• Store products in designated locations and record their locations in the system.
• Select and pack customer orders.
• At times, deliver customer orders using a light van or delivery vehicle.
• Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
