About The Position

The Warehouse Delivery Material Handler manually loads trucks with products for customer delivery. The role involves lifting, lowering, carrying products, stacking empty pallets, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The employee is expected to follow safe work practices and contribute to Staples Supply Chain’s customer deliveries. The scheduled shift is 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of related warehouse experience, or an equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment or merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain MHEO certification and safely operate required material handling equipment, as required.
• Ability and willingness to keep the work area clean.
• Ability to learn and follow safety procedures quickly.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
• Inclusive approach to working with colleagues and customers, building relationships, collaborating, and resolving issues.
