About The Position
As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will support daily warehouse operations by moving pallets and boxes between work locations, transporting materials using a box truck, and placing boxes in designated warehouse storage areas. This is a physically demanding role that requires continuous and repetitive lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the day. Candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable operating or learning to operate a pallet jack, driving a box truck, and climbing a short ladder to complete assigned work.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
- Ability and willingness to drive a box truck
- Ability and willingness to operate a pallet jack; training can be provided
- Ability to climb a short ladder, approximately four steps
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently after completing training
- Dependable attendance and consistent punctuality
- Ability to pass required background screening and drug test
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Previous experience using a pallet jack preferred
Responsibilities
- Move pallets and materials using a pallet jack
- Load and transport materials by box truck to a nearby warehouse location
- Unload and place boxes weighing up to 50 pounds onto designated warehouse racks
- Perform continuously and repetitively throughout the workday
- Organize and move materials to assigned storage areas
- Safely climb a short ladder, approximately four steps, as required
- Follow established safety procedures while handling and transporting materials
- Complete assigned daily work accurately and efficiently
