About The Position
ABC Supply Co. is the largest distributor of roofing and siding products across North America and is seeking a motivated Shipper/Receiver to join their team. In this role, the individual will receive materials, pull orders for walk-in customers, operate forklifts, and load products onto delivery trucks.
Requirements
- Can do heavy lifting
- MUST have steel-toed work shoes or boots
Nice To Haves
- Roofing/Siding background is an asset
- A forklift license is preferred (willing to train)
Responsibilities
- SDCB forklift operation.
- Delivery preparation and staging.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse/yard for ease of picking orders.
- Warehouse and yard cleanliness.
- Loading and unloading of trucks and ensure associated paperwork is correct.
- Verifying and signing off on all outgoing and incoming documentation.
- Ensures all materials are stored neatly and put away in their proper locations.
- Assists in materials ordering and inventory accuracy.
- Participate in all training required by the company.
- Able to lift 80lbs throughout the day and be able to work in various weather conditions when unloading/loading
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned
