About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler works with a team to ensure products reach their destinations. The role involves unloading delivery vehicles, receiving and storing inventory, and selecting and packing customer orders. The employee may also deliver customer orders using a light van or delivery vehicle. Requirements

• Be able to meet the physical requirements of a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 70 pounds, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying on the move in varying temperatures depending on the location.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Have good attendance and work ethic.
• Be able to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Wear steel-toed boots.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Unload deliveries and accurately receive inventory.
• Store products in designated locations and record the locations in the system.
• Select and pack customer orders.
• At times, deliver customer orders in a light van or delivery vehicle.
• Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
