About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler works with a team to move products through the warehouse and ensure they reach the correct destinations. Duties include unloading delivery vehicles, receiving and storing inventory, selecting and packing customer orders, and occasionally delivering orders in a light van or delivery vehicle. The position also involves maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and following safety procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The expected starting pay is $18.19–$23.32 per hour, with higher pay possible depending on experience.

Requirements

• Be able to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 70 pounds, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying on the move in varying temperatures depending on location.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Have good attendance and work ethic.
• Be able to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Unload deliveries and accurately receive inventory.
• Store products in designated locations and record their locations in the system.
• Select and pack customer orders.
• At times, deliver customer orders using a light van or delivery vehicle.
• Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
