About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler ensures inventory control management and warehouse operations for environmental services facilities, handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.

At least 1 year of experience and knowledge of warehouse management, forklift operation and/or resins and water treatment experience

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of experience in a comparable manufacturing or warehouse environment involving chemical handling
ERP experience in SAP
Knowledge of Water Technology
Knowledge of the lab, work with lab technicians and perform quality control checks
Operates yard-mule and forklift as business needs
Warehouse Management knowledge

Responsibilities

Manage receipt, storage, and distribution of materials including hazardous and non-hazardous items
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts
Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
Receive incoming shipments of goods, often using forklifts or other equipment to unload trucks and other delivery vehicles.
Verify that the items received match the accompanying documentation
Inspect items for damage before moving them to designated storage areas
Maintain accurate, neat and complete records of all calibration/operation logs and reports
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
Use warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
Receipt, storage, issue and stock control of materials in the warehouse
Maintains all reagent and chemical inventory in the calibration room
Assist Material buyer in cycle count, blind and yearly inventory
Receiving, issuing parts listed for plant and field use
Responsible for stocking spill kits, firelocker and housekeeping of waste management areas
Responsible for rebuilding, testing all configurations of Cla-Vals and dosing pumps
Handling of potentially hazardous chemicals
Responsible for all hazardous chemical storage areas, deliveries, tank levels and dilutions during the shift.
Follow safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that loading and docking areas are clear
