About The Position

The Warehouse Delivery Material Handler manually loads trucks with products for customer delivery. The role involves lifting, lowering, carrying products in a fast-paced warehouse, stacking empty pallets, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace. The employee is expected to follow safe work practices and support Staples Supply Chain in delivering products to customers. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The work environment has seasonal temperature variations.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of related warehouse experience, or an equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment or merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain MHEO certification and safely operate required material handling equipment.
• Ability and willingness to keep the work area clean.
• Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and follow safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
