About The Position

As a Warehouse Material Handler at Graybar, you will work with a team to move products through the warehouse and ensure they reach the appropriate destinations. Duties include unloading delivery vehicles, receiving and storing inventory, and selecting and packing customer orders. At times, you may deliver customer orders in a light van or delivery vehicle. You will help maintain a clean warehouse by following safety procedures and conducting daily safety inspections. Requirements

• Able to meet warehouse physical requirements, including lifting up to 70 lbs., cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying active in varying temperatures depending on the location.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
• Good attendance and work ethic.
• Able to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Steel-toed boots are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Unload deliveries and accurately receive inventory.
• Store products in assigned locations and record their locations in the system.
• Select and pack customer orders.
• At times, deliver customer orders in a light van or delivery vehicle.
• Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
