About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. This position involves loading, unloading, and stocking tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles, as well as driving a box truck on various routes to make deliveries. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or until all deliveries are completed, with potential for schedule changes and overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older.
1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi), and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor.
1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy.
Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts. Pass a forklift certification test.
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana).
Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines and requirements during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
Consistently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. For commercial tires, use team lifts or mechanical equipment.
Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
Work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
Be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
Contribute to a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call, depending on business needs.
Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
Complete and maintain accurate records and logs, including driver's logs and fuel purchase logs.
Make on-time deliveries at customer locations in a safe and punctual manner in all weather conditions.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management.
Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product.
Perform other job-related tasks and follow job-related instructions given by supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.
