About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants. This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operating industrial vehicles, and potentially driving a box truck for deliveries. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, or until all work is complete, with potential for overtime and schedule changes based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi).
  • Satisfactory completion of company road test.
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts.
  • Pass a forklift certification test.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (does not test for THC/marijuana).
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one during the hiring process.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet safely while operating equipment.
  • Willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts using industrial vehicles like forklifts or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners for inventory control, finding and putting away tires.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, with team lifts or mechanical equipment for heavier items.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Work at heights up to 25 feet safely while operating equipment.
  • Be on feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • Assist other departments (ecomm, inventory, will call) as needed.
  • Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles for deliveries (10-20 deliveries per day).
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs (driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, etc.).
  • Make on-time deliveries in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Operate a handheld device to ensure deliveries are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery.
