About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. This role involves loading, unloading, and stocking tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing equipment like forklifts and picker equipment. Responsibilities also include inventory control using scanners, and potentially assisting other departments. A significant part of the role includes driving a box truck or other vehicles for deliveries, completing logs, performing vehicle inspections, and interacting with customers. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm or until work is complete, with potential for overtime and schedule changes based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi).
  • Satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor.
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy.
  • Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts.
  • Pass a forklift certification test.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana).
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines and requirements during the hiring process.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Work at heights up to 25 feet safely while operating equipment.
  • Be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs.
  • Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of many routes, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law.
  • Make on-time deliveries at customer locations in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
  • Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product.
