About The Position

Garden State Tile is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee and perform daily warehouse operations at its Dover, New Jersey Showroom & Design Center. This is an active, physically demanding role that includes heavy lifting, building pallets, loading and unloading shipments, and organizing inventory—not management from behind a desk. The facility serves contractors, builders, designers, and homeowners and features a wireless warehouse environment, Epicor Prophet 21 technology, and a luxury design center. The role includes receiving and processing stock and materials, fulfilling orders, preparing shipments and customer pickups, handling warehouse logistics and transfers, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing concierge-level service to guests and team members. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends. Compensation is $23.00–$27.00 per hour, with regular opportunities for overtime pay at 1.5 times the base rate to meet operational needs.

Requirements

Proficient computer skills and familiarity with tracking systems.
Experience or proficiency with Epicor Prophet 21 or similar RFID warehouse technology.
Understanding of inventory mapping, strict cycle counts, spot checks, and asset protection.
Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including heavy lifting, building pallets, and loading and unloading shipments.
A customer-service-oriented, concierge mindset and ability to help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse.

Responsibilities

Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
Pick and fill orders from stock and organize warehouse inventory using Epicor Prophet 21 technology.
Manage, pack, ship, and accurately prepare orders for shipment and customer pickup.
Provide concierge-level customer service to guests, customers, and team members.
Load and unload trucks and safely process warehouse transfers and orders.
Enter daily inbound transfers, containers, LTL shipments, and ground transport into computer systems.
Perform scheduled cycle counts, spot checks, and other inventory controls to maintain accurate inventory and improve warehouse productivity.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse.
Greet guests visiting the location and provide high-quality customer service.
