Warehouse Manager - Palace
About The Position
This role is responsible for ensuring the company receives the correct quality and quantity of merchandise ordered, and that all outlets have the necessary products to provide excellent guest service. The position involves overseeing receiver job functions, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring proper product rotation in all storage areas. Key duties include verifying invoices against purchase orders and received products, inspecting deliveries, and obtaining necessary signatures for product receipt and accountability. The manager is also responsible for scheduling warehouse staff, conducting performance appraisals, interviews, and corrective counseling, and supporting the warehouse team in daily operations.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a receiver.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management.
- Ability to operate electrical and manual pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of proper rotation procedures.
- Must have valid NV Driver’s License.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
- Must be flexible, able to handle multiple tasks, and establish priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the company receives the quality and quantity of merchandise ordered.
- Ensuring all outlets receive the products needed to provide Guests with the best service.
- Ensuring all receivers are performing their job functions and prioritizing work when necessary.
- Properly rotating products in all freezers, storerooms, and cold boxes.
- Delivering the proper product to the proper location.
- Verifying that invoices are correct by checking them against purchase orders and product received.
- Inspecting delivered products.
- Ensuring that all purchase orders and invoices are signed, dated, and time stamped.
- Ensuring that all signatures are obtained for all delivered products and assuming responsibility for the products.
- Scheduling Team Members.
- Conducting performance appraisals, interviews, and corrective counsel for all warehouse staff.
- Supporting the warehouse staff in the day-to-day operations of the department.
