In the role of Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving and shipping activities, warehouse organization, team supervision, and operational efficiency. You will lead warehouse personnel, maintain inventory accuracy, ensure workplace safety, and support company initiatives to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Must have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.
  • Must have dependable, reliable transportation to and from your base office location.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse management experience.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse software.
  • Forklift certification and operating experience.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, hand tools, and related products.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping of materials.
  • Manage and supervise warehouse personnel, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement warehouse processes that improve productivity, organization, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
  • Operate forklifts and ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and utilized safely.
  • Coordinate preparation of materials for installation, maintenance, and customer pick-up orders.
  • Track key warehouse performance metrics and provide reports to management.
  • Assist with budgeting, material planning, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and operational challenges in a timely manner.
  • Support cross-functional teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.
