About The Position

Novo Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all operations at our multi-client warehouse facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate handling of multiple client inventories while maintaining superior service levels. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for operational management, client relationship management, team leadership, inventory control, compliance and safety monitoring, performance tracking and reporting, and financial performance, including profit and loss (P&L) ownership. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in a multi-client operation.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage diverse client needs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team building.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • Proven experience managing profit and loss (P&L) statements and budgets, with a track record of driving revenue growth and profitability improvement.
  • Experience in account management, business development, or a client-facing revenue-generating role, with demonstrated success expanding customer contracts and securing new business.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • At least 18 years old at the time of application.
  • Willing to submit to a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Certification in operating a forklift.
  • Prior experience in account management, business development, or (P&L) ownership within a multi-client or contract services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods for multiple clients.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows to manage diverse client requirements.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for space utilization, safety, and efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring service levels are met.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on inventory, performance metrics, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients to forecast needs and align warehouse operations accordingly.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide coaching to enhance employee skills.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensure the warehouse maintains accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Manage regular cycle count schedules and audits to minimize discrepancies.
  • Implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and enhance stock accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety training and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Facilitate the Team Member Safety Committee to help drive an effective safety culture at the site.
  • Analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround times, and cost efficiency.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize operations.
  • Prepare and present operational and financial reports to management and clients.
  • Own site-level profit and loss (P&L) performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and net income results measured against budgeted targets.
  • Drive existing customer account growth through expanded scope, service enhancements, and proactive relationship management.
  • Support new business acquisition by identifying growth opportunities within assigned accounts and contributing to contract renewal and expansion discussions.
  • Partner with sales and account management leadership to develop and execute strategies that increase revenue per account and expand contract scope.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and provide regular updates on revenue, profitability, and account growth to senior leadership.
