About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of the CCS Warehouse. Directs and supervises the work of the warehouse to include the managing of receiving, handling, storing, picking, loading, unloading and packing of products for construction projects, etc. This position is responsible for ensuring the overall inventory control of the warehouse meets or exceeds its financial objectives, by weekly cycle counting including overseeing and monitoring the receivers and bill of materials. Involved in daily/weekly meeting with the Department Leaders, project engineer's and Site Superintendents to develop means and methods, schedule contracting needs and long lead delivery times. Review project BoM's or plan to determine estimated job cost, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Anticipate project needs with sufficient lead-time to avoid delay of production. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, work closely with Project Manager and Site Superintendent insure that product is ready when needed according to the project timeline. Form and lead an effective warehouse team as business allows, define and delegate responsibilities and set goals. Resolve any office and grounds maintenance issues, and other problems that may arise where this positions expertise may come into play. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the CCS / MPI mobile assets including but not limited to company trucks, cars and lift assist devices. Be an effective leader, communicate with department leads regarding work scopes. Ensure safety, quality and production is maintained. Responsible for project closeout. Secure loose ends by finishing paperwork, obtaining retainages, supporting supervisors and expediting claims.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in a related field, or a related combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience.
  • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented; able to set and achieve goals.
  • Interpersonal skills to work well and persuade people at all organizational levels.
  • Compliance with applicable laws, codes, regulations, or zoning for required work.
  • Demonstrated clear logical written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to cooperate and work as a team.
  • Leadership qualities; seeks and accepts responsibility and leads by example.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to complete a background check.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test prior to starting and after an offer is made.
