About The Position

Warehouse Managers are responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, and delivery. This role’s main priority is to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment. Safety is a main priority for this position.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and business productivity software (such as Microsoft Office), with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment is necessary.
  • Ability to remove obstacles preventing productivity.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • Effective communication skills and basic math skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents in English.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA for any employer.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the flow of the warehouse, schedules, and organize staff to ensure proper staffing.
  • Hire and train new warehouse employees.
  • Inspect the warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe.
  • Manage all inventories through the management of Warehouse Supervisors by receiving purchases from suppliers, storing the products, filling orders with customers, and billing the merchandise.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventories through weekly cycle counts, audits, and full physical inventories.
  • Ensure safety and recommend maintenance improvements in the warehouse by conducting safety training, accident investigations, and equipment and facility inspections.
  • Investigate complaints involving such matters as damaged product, wrong product loaded onto trucks, inventory adjustments and variances, delays in shipments, and product quality issues; make necessary adjustments and improvements.
  • Check rotation of stock for close and outdated beer in the warehouse and place code date signs on appropriate pallets and follow quality control standards and company procedures for product rotation.
  • Ensure all warehouse personnel follow safety procedures while performing assigned duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed.
