About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse staff supervision. This role ensures the accurate and timely movement of window blinds, shades, shutters, components, and accessories while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. The Warehouse Manager works closely with customer service, purchasing teams to support company objectives and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
  • Establish performance expectations and productivity goals.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding new warehouse employees.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Verify receipts against purchase orders and shipping documents.
  • Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure proper packaging and handling of finished window treatment products.
  • Enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and company requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately.
  • Organize warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and space utilization.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse facilities.
  • Monitor inventory levels for blinds, shades, fabrics, hardware, motors, and accessories.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to maintain proper stock levels and avoid shortages.
