About The Position

Touchton Plumbing Contractors, Inc., a family-owned and operated company serving Jacksonville for over 30 years, is seeking an organized, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and help support our growing field operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for inventory management, purchasing support, and ensuring our technicians have the materials and resources they need to serve our customers efficiently. Requirements

  • Previous experience managing warehouse operations, inventory, or logistics
  • Leadership experience supervising warehouse or operations personnel
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and purchasing practices
  • Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (or willingness to become certified)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and inventory management software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the plumbing, construction, HVAC, or mechanical contracting industry is preferred
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and safety
  • Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials, tools, and equipment
  • Coordinate material deliveries and job site logistics with service, new construction, and fabrication teams
  • Maintain inventory of plumbing materials, fittings, fixtures, and specialty equipment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers while assisting with purchasing and procurement
  • Track and manage company-owned tools, equipment, and assets
  • Develop and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure technicians' trucks are properly stocked and prepared for daily operations
  • Coordinate after-hours and emergency material requests when necessary
  • Utilize ServiceTitan, fleet management software, and inventory systems to maintain accurate records and reporting
  • Lead, train, and mentor warehouse personnel while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with company leadership to identify operational improvements and support long-term company growth
