About The Position

Garden State Tile is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee and perform daily warehouse operations at its Dover, New Jersey Showroom & Design Center. This is an active, physical role involving receiving and processing stock, fulfilling orders, organizing inventory, building pallets, and loading and unloading shipments. The manager also prepares orders for shipping and customer pickup, processes warehouse transfers and transportation shipments in computer systems, and performs scheduled cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and productivity. The position uses Epicor Prophet 21 technology in a wireless warehouse environment and emphasizes safe, clean, efficient operations and concierge-level service for customers and team members. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends. Compensation is $23–$27 per hour; the position is hourly and non-exempt, with regular opportunities for overtime pay at 1.5 times the base rate to meet operational needs.

Requirements

Proficient computer skills and familiarity with tracking systems.
Experience or proficiency with Epicor Prophet 21 technology or similar RFID warehouse technology.
Understanding of inventory mapping, strict cycle counts, spot checks, and asset protection.
Ability to perform hands-on warehouse tasks, including heavy lifting, pallet building, and loading and unloading shipments.
Customer-service orientation and ability to provide concierge-level service.
Ability to support safe, clean, and efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
Pick and fill orders from stock and organize warehouse inventory using Epicor Prophet 21 technology.
Manage, pack, ship, and accurately prepare orders for shipping and customer pickup.
Provide concierge-level customer service to customers and team members, including greeting guests.
Load and unload trucks and safely process warehouse transfers and orders.
Enter daily inbound transfers, containers, LTL shipments, and ground transport into computer systems.
Perform scheduled cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory and improve warehouse productivity.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse.
Perform physical warehouse work, including heavy lifting and building pallets.
