This is an evening/night (2nd) shift. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required, and you would only drive if an employee was absent. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all operational activities in a safe manner within the warehouse/distribution center. This includes overseeing inventory control policies and procedures to maintain accuracy, maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse facility, monitoring bin maintenance, stocking, and order pulling, managing expense budgets for equipment and building, communicating with the purchasing department regarding shipments and scheduling inbound overseas containers, overseeing the recycling center, and collaborating with satellite managers on delivery accuracy. The role also encompasses supervisory responsibilities such as planning, assigning, scheduling, reviewing work, ensuring quality standards, hiring, terminating, training, developing, reviewing performance, and administering corrective action for staff.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
5 years+ in specialized profession or equivalent
Proficient in specialty including prior senior lead / supervisor experience.
Warehouse experience.
CDL required (would only drive if an employee was absent).
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and Powerpoint presentations to support business objectives.
Ability to communicate complex information across departments and interact with management.
Ability to present, resolve and address delicate situations.
Ability to motivate and persuade others.
Ability to solve varied and complex problems, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation, using knowledge and skills, general precedents and practices.
Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

Oversee all inventory control policies and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy; including receiving of all products into system, control and audit vendor issues.
Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency and organization.
Monitor accuracy of bin maintenance, stocking and order pulling to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor expense budgets for repair and maintenance of equipment and overall building expenses.
Communicate directly with purchasing department on shipment errors and inventory needs and schedules all inbound overseas containers to be received.
Oversee recycling center to assure correct scheduling of product.
Work directly with satellite managers on maintaining accurate delivery of stock orders and sold product transfers delivered.
Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards.
Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
Responsibilities can include those duties aligned with shipping and/or receiving.
