About The Position

Nutrien is seeking a Warehouse Manager for its Tamworth distribution centre. Reporting to the National Merchandise Optimisation Manager, the role leads the warehouse team and manages the efficient movement of inventory into and out of the warehouse and to the branch, franchise and wholesale network. The manager uses reporting tools to track performance, identify opportunities and improve the safety and efficiency of operations.

The role combines hands-on team leadership with responsibility for inventory accuracy, goods receival, storage and delivery, hazardous substances, operating costs, customer and supplier service, and business performance. The position supports Nutrien’s work serving Australian farmers and contributing to sustainable farming and food production.

Requirements

• Proven management skills and the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team in a warehousing or distribution-centre environment.
• Hands-on experience managing inventory and stock control using computer-based inventory control systems.
• Confidence using SAP and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the site.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety-first approach and strong commercial acumen.
• Unrestricted, ongoing working rights in Australia.
• May be required to complete pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse team hands-on, coaching and developing team members.
• Ensure goods are received, stored and delivered efficiently and on time.
• Manage inventory levels and stock control, ensuring stock is presented and delivered to the required standard.
• Meet manufacturer requirements for inventory, receivals and storage, and maintain compliance.
• Manage hazardous substances in accordance with manufacturer, company and legislative requirements.
• Manage operating costs and ensure key metrics are met.
• Provide strong service to customers and suppliers and support the wider branch network to work more efficiently.
• Analyse business performance, report on results and take action to improve operations.
