The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including coordination with scheduling to meet customer committed ship dates, providing leadership and technical guidance to employees, and ensuring that outlined target deadlines and parameters are achieved. This role involves initiating clear communication across all levels of the organization, developing and monitoring employee schedules, evaluating work performance, and enforcing plant policies. The manager will also identify, monitor, and report on department and plant-wide metrics, verify orders against ballots, and ensure shipment weights are correct. Key responsibilities include determining shipping priorities and methods, managing inventory placement, conducting monthly finished goods inventory, and supervising team members. Additionally, the role encompasses trafficking duties such as preparing shipping documentation and formatting procedures for shipping and freight lines, as well as invoicing duties including structuring essential information, collecting signed BOLs, filing orders, and setting up daily shipments. The manager will also configure shipping methods, construct the billing process for customers, handle monthly inventory data, ensure billing accuracy, and manage customer inquiries. Collaboration with the leadership team on miscellaneous assignments and resolving inventory issues are also part of the role. Other duties as assigned.
