About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory control, safety compliance, and employee development within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role ensures efficient receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping activities while maintaining inventory accuracy, operational excellence, and a culture of safety and accountability.

Requirements

3+ years of warehouse, distribution, inventory management, or logistics experience.
2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze operational metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment as needed.
Forklift certified.
Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping functions.
Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and stock movement.
Ensure compliance with established warehouse procedures and operational standards.
Partner with operations and procurement teams to maintain service levels and inventory availability.
Lead warehouse safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and food safety standards.
Conduct safety meetings, inspections, audits, and corrective action programs.
Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures to reduce risk.
Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates across multiple shifts.
Provide training on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and performance expectations.
Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development plans.
Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the operation.
Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory control processes.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Analyze inventory trends and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and accuracy.
Manage labor planning and staffing levels to support operational demands.
Coordinate staffing and scheduling for day and night shift operations.
Provide leadership coverage as needed, including occasional weekend operations.
