About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory control, safety compliance, and employee development within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role ensures efficient receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping activities while maintaining inventory accuracy, operational excellence, and a culture of safety and accountability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, inventory management, or logistics experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment as needed.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping functions.
  • Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and stock movement.
  • Ensure compliance with established warehouse procedures and operational standards.
  • Partner with operations and procurement teams to maintain service levels and inventory availability.
  • Lead warehouse safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and food safety standards.
  • Conduct safety meetings, inspections, audits, and corrective action programs.
  • Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures to reduce risk.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates across multiple shifts.
  • Provide training on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and performance expectations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development plans.
  • Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the operation.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory control processes.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory trends and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and accuracy.
  • Manage labor planning and staffing levels to support operational demands.
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling for day and night shift operations.
  • Provide leadership coverage as needed, including occasional weekend operations.
