About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, manage inventory, lead a team, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a track record of success in optimizing operations and leading teams.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members at all levels.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Forklift certification and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles are a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement warehouse strategies to optimize space utilization, streamline workflows, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of goods. Ensure accuracy of inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
Lead, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high levels of productivity. Provide training as needed to ensure team members are equipped with necessary skills.
Enforce safety standards and procedures to create a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of outbound shipments. Address any quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them.
Coordinate maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods and resolve any issues related to shipments or deliveries. Negotiate favorable terms and pricing when necessary.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order fulfillment rates, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency within the warehouse. Solicit feedback from team members and implement best practices accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory levels, and performance metrics. Generate regular reports for management review.
