About The Position

A fast-growing water filtration distribution and service company in Sanford, FL is seeking a dependable and proactive Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes ownership of their department, understands shipping and receiving, and can maintain accurate inventory while supporting a busy field service operation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of warehouse management experience preferred
  • Previous distribution, logistics, or field-service support experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Shipping and receiving experience
  • Inventory management experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of water filtration systems, components, parts, and service equipment
  • Coordinate deliveries and pickups with vendors, freight carriers, and field service teams
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
  • Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies
  • Package and process daily orders using UPS WorldShip, LTL carriers, and accounting software
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Oversee organization and storage of products, parts, and equipment
  • Conduct regular cycle counts
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure products and service parts are properly stocked and accessible
  • Supervise warehouse personnel and coordinate daily responsibilities
  • Train team members on proper equipment and product handling
  • Establish accountability for accuracy, productivity, organization, and safety
  • Help maintain an efficient workflow throughout the warehouse
  • Prepare and stage equipment and supplies for field technicians
  • Coordinate with service departments to ensure equipment is ready according to schedule
  • Receive, inspect, and properly restock returned equipment
  • Help ensure field teams have the materials needed to complete scheduled work
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse
  • Follow and enforce company and OSHA safety standards
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of water treatment components and chemicals
