The Warehouse Manager II oversees all daily warehouse operations while contributing to broader process improvement goals. The role leads and develops warehouse teams, ensures compliance, and optimizes labor, equipment, and inventory. Canteen brings break time to everyone. Requirements

  • 3+ years of warehouse or distribution supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team, preferably including supervisors or team leads.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, order processing, and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or warehouse systems experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (if required).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a union environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads all warehouse operations to ensure efficient production, while maintaining budget, inventory management, and achievement of key performance indicators.
  • Manages a team of Warehouse Workers and, when applicable, Supervisors/Team Leads, including training, performance management, coaching, and ongoing development.
  • Partners with operations, supply chain, safety, HR, and other stakeholders to align priorities and service requirements.
  • Allocates labor, equipment, and space efficiently.
  • Oversees inventory management, order fulfillment, and facility readiness across shifts.
  • Ensures compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements, as well as union requirements when applicable.
  • Contributes to continuous process improvements and operational reviews.
  • Prepares reports and operational insights for senior leadership.
