About The Position

EFCO is seeking a construction-minded professional to join their team as a Maintenance professional. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing large and small industrial equipment, as well as the overall maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment on site. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or warehouse maintenance.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems, electrical repair, and basic groundskeeping equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiently uses job-specific tools, systems, and procedures to perform tasks effectively.
  • Adjusts quickly and effectively to changing circumstances, priorities, and feedback.
  • Breaks down complex information to identify patterns, relationships, and root causes.
  • Takes ownership of actions, tasks, and outcomes; follows through on commitments.
  • Makes sound decisions by evaluating facts, risks, and potential outcomes.
  • Ability to regularly perform all job functions at company office or worksite.
  • Ability to withstand environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, noises.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force rarely and/or 25 lbs. of force frequently, and/or 10 pounds of force to constantly move objects.
  • Must be able to climb, balance, stand, walk, bend forward, rotate, squat, kneel, stoop, and maintain static postures.
  • Must have continuous hearing and speaking ability.
  • Must have continuous vision.
  • Frequent to continuous repetitive motions of shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Ability to perform various lifts and carries up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull horizontally up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform one-hand pulls and repetitive coupling motions.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair machinery malfunctions or breakdowns.
  • Responsible for lockout tagout (LOTO) process and procedures.
  • Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, rigging, and other equipment.
  • Install additional equipment or move existing equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Assist in developing maintenance plans.
  • Monitor and maintain facility grounds, including grass trimming, weed removal, trash pick-up, and parking lot maintenance.
  • Perform painting and power washing as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.
  • Ensure company facilities meet federal and local regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all federal and local safety regulations are followed.
  • Fix potential safety hazards.
  • Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
  • Utilize all applicable personal protective equipment.
  • Report or correct equipment malfunctions, unsafe equipment and acts, material revisions, and product deviations to supervisor.
