About The Position

This position is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance for agency sites, including painting interior walls. The role involves scheduling and completing projects, assembling and repairing household items, and conducting annual physical inventories. The worker will track documentation, maintain good working relationships with staff, and participate in required training. The position may also require being on call.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work with team approach
Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule
Schedule and complete projects in a timely manner
Ability to manage time
Must be able to lift and move furniture and be physically able to perform job duties
Basic household maintenance skills
If required, amenable to training on computer skill development
Oversee specific job projects
Ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 40 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Three years’ experience with maintenance/warehouse duties preferred

Responsibilities

Schedule projects as work demands
Assemble and/or repair household items as needed
Complete annual physical inventory
Track properly signed documentation/work orders
Perform repairs and maintenance for agency sites
Paint interior walls of agency sites and offices
Understand and follow all program policies and procedures
Report all program sensitive situations to supervisor
Maintain good working relationship with all agency staff
Participate in and successfully complete all required staff training and development activities
Perform other related tasks as directed by supervisor
On call if required by position
