About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Greenwood, Indiana. The role supports warehouse operations by maintaining mechanical equipment, building systems, and grounds. Products handled at the facility are electronics, and equipment includes conveyors and production machinery. The work is scheduled for the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position pays $25.00 or more per hour based on experience, with overtime pay of $37.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with parts inventory systems.
• Ability to investigate and problem-solve mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrication, repairs, and troubleshooting for mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist with and monitor work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls to support cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company and applicable local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Depending on location, operate equipment and obtain equipment certification if required.
• Handle special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
