About The Position

S&S Activewear is seeking an inventory control specialist to perform counts and recounts, verify inventories and report discrepancies. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to read and speak English
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery
Must be comfortable using electronic devices
Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
Ability to operate warehouse machinery - Forklift/Cherry Picker Driver Experience
Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
Ability to work overtime when needed
Ability to work independently without close supervision
Responsible for any additional duties assigned

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e; Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.
Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
Effectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.)
Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.
Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency
Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas
Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software
Act professionally and remain focused while working
Safely operate all warehouse equipment
Follow directions of leadership
Perform cleaning activities as required
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
Maintain a positive attitude
