About The Position
Warehouse Services, Inc. is seeking qualified Material Handlers - Pickers, Manual Lumpers to work within their Tire distribution center in San Bernardino. This role involves heavy work and requires sit-down and stand-up forklift experience. The pay rate is $19.75 per hour.
Requirements
- Ability to manually move and lift up to 55 pounds continuously.
- Sit-down and stand-up forklift experience.
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- Basic math, English and computer skills required.
- Solid work history.
- Must pass pre-employment background and post offer drug screen/physical.
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, E-Verify and background check.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Prior experience with RF Scan guns helpful.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload trucks - by hand and with equipment
- Operate material handling equipment
- Identify, hold and segregate defective or damage material
- Complete paperwork per work instructions as required
- Perform receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine: a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
- Perform physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control.
- Other duties as assigned.
