About The Position

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operations of our shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory activities. You’ll lead a team, set daily priorities, reinforce processes and standard work, solve problems, and make sure materials move safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout our operation. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
3–5 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory control, material handling, or manufacturing operations.
2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role with responsibility for directing and supporting employees.
Experience using an ERP system for shipping, receiving, inventory, and material transactions.
Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.
Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, standard work, or continuous improvement preferred.
Experience with freight, carrier coordination, and shipping documentation is a plus.
Forklift or other material-handling equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on leadership to our warehouse and logistics team while helping create a safe, organized, and reliable operation.
Lead the team by providing daily direction, setting priorities, coaching team members, reinforcing expectations, and helping employees grow and succeed.
Oversee shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory activities to support production schedules and customer requirements.
Ensure established processes and standard work are understood, followed, and consistently executed.
Drive inventory accuracy by overseeing cycle counting, reinforcing accurate ERP transactions, and helping investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Respond to daily material, shipping, receiving, and workflow issues and work across departments to keep things moving.
Monitor key performance indicators such as on-time shipping, shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, cycle count completion, and dock-to-stock time.
Identify opportunities to improve material flow, efficiency, safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Help document and improve procedures while reinforcing 5S, visual management, and process discipline.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and ensure team members follow established safety practices.
Partner with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service, and other teams to resolve issues and improve material flow.
