UE SystemsElmsford, NY
$80,000 - $100,000Onsite

About The Position

At UE Systems, we are dedicated to providing accessible ultrasound solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety across various industries. Since 1973, we have empowered thousands of customers globally to prevent equipment failures, identify energy losses, and ensure workplace safety. As we continue to grow and build a more disciplined, globally connected operating system, we are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to establish and lead the warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions for our Elmsford operation. This is a comprehensive role that involves developing standards, optimizing layout, implementing procedures, establishing controls, and defining the daily operating rhythm to ensure accurate inventory, reliable shipments, and repeatable warehouse processes. The Manager will lead the warehouse team in executing physical tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and material movement. Key responsibilities include owning the system's priorities, process discipline, inventory accuracy, shipment execution, issue resolution, training, safety, and continuous improvement. This role requires close collaboration with Supply Chain to manage inventory allocation, transfers, and shipment priorities across UE's global operations, while maintaining direct accountability for the Elmsford warehouse.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory control, distribution, manufacturing, or technical product fulfillment.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or supervising warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or material-handling employees.
  • Proven experience developing warehouse and shipping structure from an immature, manual, or scaling environment, including procedures, layout, controls, training, and operating cadence.
  • Strong experience with inventory accuracy, cycle counting, bin/location control, ERP/WMS transactions, receiving discipline, order fulfillment, and shipment execution.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping, carrier systems, customs/commercial documentation, and shipment exception management.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS or inventory systems and shipping platforms such as ShipStation, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or similar systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train employees, document processes, escalate issues, and work cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable working on-site in a hands-on warehouse environment while leading the team and owning the management system, not just performing transactions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certification is preferred, such as ASCM/APICS CLTD, CPIM, or CSCP; Lean Six Sigma; forklift / powered industrial truck training; OSHA safety training; or dangerous-goods / lithium-battery shipping training where applicable.
  • Experience with Acumatica, ShipStation, or ERP-integrated shipping and inventory workflows.
  • Experience in electronics, instrumentation, industrial equipment, repair/service operations, or serialized technical products.
  • Experience creating warehouse KPIs, dashboards, training materials, SOPs, or audit-ready documentation.
  • Experience coordinating inventory transfers between facilities or supporting international shipments and returns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Elmsford warehouse and shipping structure, including layout, bin/location control, receiving flow, pick/pack/ship standards, staging, documentation, and daily operating routines.
  • Lead the warehouse team responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, cycle counts, inventory movements, and warehouse organization.
  • Own Elmsford inventory accuracy by ensuring receipts, picks, transfers, shipments, adjustments, and cycle counts are completed correctly in the ERP and related systems.
  • Create and maintain practical SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and training so warehouse work is repeatable, scalable, and not dependent on tribal knowledge.
  • Manage daily order priorities, carrier coordination, shipment deadlines, customer-specific requirements, and shipping exceptions, including international documents and commercial-invoice accuracy.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Repair, Finance, and Business Systems to resolve inventory discrepancies, receiving issues, shipment holds, system errors, and process gaps.
  • Establish performance visibility for the warehouse, including inventory accuracy, cycle-count completion, on-time shipment execution, shipping errors, receiving backlog, and open exceptions.
