The Logistics Manager will be primarily responsible for all branch logistics activities relating to distribution operations, executing all receiving, storage, inventory control, pick, packing and route loading for delivery of products. This role involves directing, optimizing, and coordinating all warehouse activity, actively managing P&L expenses, quality, productivity, staffing, safety, capacity, and product flow. The manager will foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging key metrics, training, and coaching, and maintain open communications with all operations personnel. They will support Customer Service, Counter staff, QA/QC, and Inventory Control, monitor the branch review queue, and respond to inbound, outbound, and product questions. Daily warehouse walkthroughs for safety and housekeeping, and reviewing/analyzing daily reports to identify opportunities and root causes are also key responsibilities. The manager will oversee cross-dock and transfer situations, address general branch issues, and ensure timely and accurate processing of all parcel package shipments for customer delivery.
