About The Position

The Warehouse Logistics Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of construction materials and equipment between warehouses, job sites, and suppliers across the United States. This position is responsible for managing the safe loading, transport, and delivery of goods while adhering to all transportation regulations and company policies. The role requires close coordination with warehouse staff, logistics coordinators, and site managers to optimize delivery schedules and maintain accurate records of shipments. The Warehouse Logistics Driver contributes directly to the smooth operation of construction projects by minimizing delays and ensuring materials arrive in excellent condition. Ultimately, this position supports the overall supply chain by maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and communication throughout the transportation process.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class operated.
  • 3 minimum years proven experience in transportation logistics, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle safety standards and transportation regulations.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Physical capability to load and unload heavy materials as required.
  • The required skill of transportation logistics is essential for planning and executing efficient delivery routes, ensuring materials arrive on time and in good condition.
  • Daily work involves coordinating with multiple teams to manage schedules and adapt to changing project needs, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
  • The ability to safely operate vehicles and warehouse equipment is critical to maintaining safety standards and preventing damage to goods.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles to transport construction/ HVAC and plumbing materials and equipment between warehouses, job sites, and suppliers safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel and logistics teams to plan delivery routes and schedules that meet project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and any incidents or delays encountered during transport.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including safety protocols and vehicle maintenance requirements.
