This role involves performing a variety of tasks to help maintain accurate inventory levels of materials, tooling, and supplies under moderate supervision. The associate will maintain accurate inventory records, support audits and cycle counts, and prepare outbound shipments with accurate documentation. Following established safety and procedural guidelines is crucial. The role also includes assisting with basic packaging, assembly, and inspection tasks, collaborating effectively with team members, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Additionally, the associate will support operations planning by tracking inventory and material identifiers, participate in purchasing activities, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure prompt return of excess materials, components, and tooling to inventory. Problem-solving using established procedures and escalating when needed, supporting small process improvement initiatives, and communicating effectively with team members and other departments are also key aspects of this position. Demonstrating accountability for individual contributions and supporting team goals is expected. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work with those inside and outside the department, handle multiple assignments and prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to follow appropriate department policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license (if required to drive a company vehicle).
  • Forklift certification required (if required to operate a forklift).

Nice To Haves

  • Regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience (desirable).
  • Warehouse experience (desirable).
  • Understanding of inventory practices preferred.
  • Familiar with production procedures.
  • Knowledge of ERP system desired.

Responsibilities
