About The Position
US Foods is seeking to hire a Warehouse Loader to join their team. This role is responsible for loading outbound orders into designated tractor trailers, ensuring product is safely stowed and organized for efficient deliveries. This position operates in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred.
- Must be pallet jack certified.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to read load diagrams.
- Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trailer inspection before loading to ensure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature, and is ready for loading.
- Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.
- Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.
- Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured.
- Confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.
- Follow all safety work practices and maintain a clean and orderly dock area.
