Warehouse Loader / Yard Driver (No CDL Required)
About The Position
Toft Dairy is hiring a Warehouse Loader / Yard Driver (Jockey) to help load product and position trucks for delivery. This is a full-time, hands-on job where you stay active and get behind the wheel, but no CDL is required. The role involves picking and preparing customer orders with accuracy, loading delivery trucks efficiently, and moving trucks/trailers into loading docks within the yard. You will also pick-order products from a refrigerated warehouse, rotate product using FIFO, and operate equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts. The position requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized dock/warehouse and adhering to all safety and food safety standards. This is a fast-paced, physical role in a refrigerated environment, requiring frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 75 lbs with assistance).

Nice To Haves
- Warehouse or order picking experience
- Experience backing up box trucks, straight trucks, or semi-trailers

- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare customer orders with a high level of accuracy
- Verify all product counts on order sheet before loading
- Load delivery trucks efficiently and accurately
- Move and back trucks/trailers into loading docks (yard driving only – no road driving required)
- Pick-order products from refrigerated warehouse and storage area to delivery trucks
- Rotate product using FIFO (First In, First Out)
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock/warehouse
- Follow all safety and food safety standards
