Requirements

• Graduation from accredited high school; some college desirable or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years previous supervisory experience
• 2 + years lift equipment experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• WMS

Nice To Haves

• Experience with computers and ERP, WMS or other inventory management systems
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and ability to exercise independent judgment
• Must be detail-oriented
• Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data, problem identification and resolution and ability to generate clear/concise reports indicating key issues to management/ department heads
• Excellent communication skills, both in oral and written medium
• Aptitude in problem solving
• Good communication skills both verbally and written
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops.
• Ensures a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
• Oversees receiving and inventory personnel in the refrigerated warehouse and ensures that the receiving and inventory management processes are followed and executed in an effective and efficient manner.
• Trains and motivates warehouse and receiving associates; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations.
• Is responsible for assigning and maintaining equipment required to accomplish the warehouse and receiving mission in a safe, effective manner.
• Monitors the unloading and / or helps unload all materials into the receiving department; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received.
• Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry.
• Oversees the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
• Oversees the supplying of materials to fabrication and stages material for assembly and sub-assembly.
• Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives and provide general support to other departments as PPO as needed.
