About The Position

The Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining safety standards. This position acts as a bridge between warehouse associates and supervisors, providing direction, support, and hands-on assistance to ensure productivity and accuracy in all warehouse activities.

Requirements

One to two years of related experience in a warehouse environment
Prior experience with material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and stock pickers
Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods
Experience using handheld RF scan guns and basic computer skills
Positive and professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Commitment to excellence and high standards with good oral communication skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to pass company background screening, motor vehicle report and drug testing requirements

Nice To Haves

Preferred a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor the activities of warehouse associates to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing guidance to team members.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and shipping of goods.
Identify and resolve workflow or process issues to improve efficiency.
Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding operational needs and updates.
Perform regular quality checks and assist with cycle counts or inventory audits as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
