About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and supporting the communication flow for loading finished products onto trailers and preparing necessary documentation such as bills of lading and invoices. The position requires the ability to perform all essential functions of a Warehouse Associate, lead shipping and receiving teams, and ensure effective communication for loading processes and equipment operation within the warehouse. The role also involves coordinating trailer loading locations, preparing purchase orders, communicating with carriers for timely product collection, reviewing operator and carrier data, maintaining food safety practices, and reporting any deviations or abnormalities. The job description is not exhaustive and duties may change.

Requirements

  • 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 4 Years – Experience in Position
  • 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects
  • Experience may include a combination of work experience and education
  • High School Diploma
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle.
  • Intermediate Knowledge of storage systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts
  • Ability to analyze information.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers.
  • Prepare documentation including bill of lading and invoice.
  • Complete all essential functions of a Warehouse Associate position.
  • Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members.
  • Communicate instructions to equipment operators within the warehouse.
  • Coordinate the loading location for each trailer.
  • Prepare documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice).
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure on-time collection and/or loading of finished product.
  • Review operator and carrier line data in the Tracking Platform.
  • Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
  • Communicate any deviation, problem, and/or abnormality with equipment, processes, and products.
  • Perform any other task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe as requested by management.
