About The Position

Lakeshirts is looking for an experienced Inventory Supervisor to lead our night shift inventory team and support warehouse and production operations. This role supervises daily workflow, trains and coaches team members, maintains productivity and quality goals, and drives continuous improvement throughout the department. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys developing people, and is always looking for practical ways to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and team results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and employee-development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and sound judgment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lead independently and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, responsible, self-directed, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail, counting ability, and order-form accuracy.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, remain on your feet for 8-10 hours, and lift 30-50 pounds continuously.
  • Schedule flexibility based on workload needs.
  • Employee must be able to see and hear, read and write.
  • Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, judgment, reading, speaking, following direction, handling multiple priorities, and reasoning.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, inventory, warehouse, or production experience strongly preferred.
  • Train the Trainer Program completion preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assign and coordinate daily workflow for the Inventory Team.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve department goals.
  • Ensure employees are trained in job duties, safety practices, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular employee check-ins, performance discussions, 90-day reviews, and annual reviews.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, payroll approvals, and Workday updates.
  • Manage daily production priorities using reports, schedules, and work orders.
  • Organize inventory workflow to support production teams and on-time delivery goals.
  • Verify order accuracy by confirming garments, graphics, quantities, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain Lakeshirts quality standards and department goals for productivity, on-time completion, and error rates.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues, secure support, and meet deadlines.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement practical process improvements.
  • Follow safety practices, address safety issues, and work in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Follow 6S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety.
  • Support locating orders, unloading pallets, and other inventory operations as needed.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
