Requirements

  • Excellent mechanical ability and strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedure and work from a set of written instructions
  • Ability to work in a plant processing environment for extended periods of time
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Flexibility required to work successfully on a team
  • Active individual who will be comfortable spending most of the day walking
  • Must speak and understand English; Spanish spoken/written fluency is a plus
  • Previous supervisory skills in a diverse, fast-paced manufacturing/production environment. preferred not required.
  • Be positive with proven ability to mentor team growth and succession.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, prioritization and computer and office skills.
  • Be willing to work second shift, while demonstrating excellent attendance.
  • Be a solution finder, a problem solver who enjoys making things better through people.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of multiple employees to ensure the coordination of satisfying customer needs.
  • Positively and effectively lead teams to increasingly higher levels of productivity, quality and customer service.
  • Constantly making sure that safety is our number one priority, every day in everything we do.
  • Budget Management
  • Organizing open orders, delivery appointments, requests, etc. to ensure all customers are serviced efficiently and profitably
  • Solving problems as they arise, often in urgent situations
  • Working various short- and long-term research and improvement projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed
