About The Position

The Warehouse Lead - Third Shift (Mon - Fri|10 PM - 6:30 AM) is a Subject Matter Expert in the area’s processes and technology applications and hardware, with high familiarity with certain clients or projects. This role models CWW values and standards, fosters a positive work climate, and encourages teamwork. The Lead directs the work of other team members and engages in problem-solving and decision-making within the bounds of direction given by the team supervisor. They advise and train employees on the care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped, and ensure customer orders are picked, checked, and packed accurately and in a timely fashion. The position involves performing inventory counts, monitoring compliance with safety and security procedures, delegating housekeeping duties, and maintaining compliance with Federal and State regulatory agencies. The Lead fills client orders safely, efficiently, and within Crane SOPs, operates warehouse equipment like forklifts, and loads/unloads materials. They also attach identifying tags, scan freight using a warehouse management system with RF equipment, complete required paperwork, perform housekeeping tasks, and load client merchandise accurately and courteously. This role requires on-site presence at the assigned work location and may include other duties as assigned.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of related experience.
• Other professional certification may be required in some areas, as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in warehouse processes, technology applications, and hardware.

• Perform inventory counts as directed and make adjustments when needed and authorized.
• Monitor compliance of safety and security procedures.
• Delegate warehouse housekeeping duties and ensure they are performed daily.
• Maintain compliance in all areas pertaining to Federal and State regulatory agencies.
• Fill client orders safely, efficiently, and within Crane SOPs.
• Operate a forklift or other drivable warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves or into vehicles.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials.
• Scan freight via warehouse management system with RF equipment.
• Complete required paperwork thoroughly and promptly.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment.
• Accurately and courteously load client merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
